We Thought of Love

Making a playlist is easy. Making a mixtape is a labor of love. ​You sweat over every song. And not just the song but the order. You have to get someone’s attention from the first note and keep it across musicians and genres. You find a blank tape and decide what to put on the cover. And, you hope it creates a cumulative message.

"We thought of Love. We thought of a dream. Lying on a messy bed with the wall-length windows open. White linen curtains blowing. The sound of the ocean in the distance. We took that feeling of warmth and satisfaction. We took it and packaged it up into a series of songs. They are songs about love. Some the getting. Some the losing. But we think that songs about love are songs about hope."
